Try a second pair of headphone before because through this you come to know the real nature of problem if other headphone also don't give any kind of sound then you have a problem with your headphone jack but If the second pair works then of course you need a replacement.

If your headphones still aren't working, follow the steps below to solve your issue.

➔ Check for debris in the headphone port and in each earbud of your head phone. Some time debris stuck on your headphone port and become the cause of all the mess. To remove debris, gently brush all openings with a small, soft-bristled brush. You can also use cotton swab. Make sure brush is clean and dry. And be sure to do this gently so that you don't cause any kind of damage to your phone.
➔ Check your headphone cable, connector, remote, and earbuds for damage, like wear or breakage. A little damage in cable can fix with tape... Else you can replace the damage cable.
➔ If your iOS device has a case or cover remove it and then connect with head phone to get a firm connection.
➔ Clean your phone headphone jack with little perfume but please be extra careful in doing this trick and make sure you use small quantity.
➔ Restart your phone with headphone or speaker connected to the audio jack.
➔ Adjust the volume with the volume buttons or adjust the volume with volume slider in control center. Some time volume button got stuck and cause of no sound.
➔ Power off your phone and then on it after some time and check if this solve your problem.
➔ In iOS check the Airplay connection. If it is on turn it off. This will cause the no sound from your head phone.
➔ Connect headphone with port then disconnect them. Do this method 3 or 4 time.
➤➤ IF all the above tricks doesn't work then problem is in your phone hardware connect to apple retail store or any mobile shop to fix this problem.
